The dissident Christian movement known as Catharism received different names depending on its distribution area: Cathars and Manichaeans in Germany, Patarins and Cathars in Italy, Albigensians in Southern France. The numerous, often unique, historical, documentary, musical and literary sources allow the most important moments of this touching, tragic history to be presented.
