Fabio Biondi presents Europa Galante, a rousing recording of Handel's late opera Imeneo, recorded in the Dublin version of 1742 as Serenata with the title Hymen. In this version Handel added several new arias and carefully shortened the libretto. Fabio Biondi once again brings all his experience with baroque music to the table. As a result, we hear a captivating and particularly successful interpretation of this unjustly neglected Handel opera.
