This is exactly the philosophy of the artist - the Argentine pianist Martha Argerich is known for her spirited playing, but also for canceling concerts at short notice. However, this did not harm her career, at best it only annoyed the concert manager. She is regarded as one of the greatest pianists of our time, who is especially committed to the promotion of young talents, like no artist before her. So the applause in the present concert is due not only to her, but also to the Capuçon brothers. Argerich gives them enough freedom to develop their talents in the works of Prokofjiev, Schumann and Beethoven on the programme. This is precisely what distinguishes her as an artist.
