Mozart's operas in the distinctive sound of the Trio d'Anches - the Trio Roseau has been extremely successful in expanding the repertoire of chamber music for winds. Episode three takes on Don Giovanni, whose darker sides are somewhat relegated to the background in favour of the "dramma giocoso". Much to the advantage of the slender instrumentation with oboe, clarinet and bassoon, which in Ulf-Guido Schäfer's arrangement finds a wonderfully serenade-like tone.
