At the beginning of the 20th century, the music of Bach was also adapted for practical (concert) use in France. A prominent representative of this movement is the organ virtuoso Marcel Dupré (1886-1971), whose transcriptions of Bach's works were long associated with the odour of unplayability due to their technical difficulties. On a modern violin and an organ in the "historically correct" tuning a'=440, Raphaël Oleg and Vincent Dubois take us back to a time when (almost) everything was still permitted with Bach
