Mozart and women - an infinite subject. The female sex gave rise to the two new concerts that Christian Zacharias recorded with his Lausanne Chamber Orchestra: The concerto in G major (KV 453) was written for his pupil Barbara Ployer. Mozart wrote the concerto in B flat major (KV 456) for the piano virtuoso Maria Theresia Paradis, a blind godchild of the Empress at the age of three.
