description
"The artificial music of these suites, arranged according to keys and dance types, is spiritedly and at the same time sensitively reproduced by the ensemble. Allain-Dupre has a wide range of expressions, his tone is lyrically expressive, his playing technique perfect. The details are explored with great enthusiasm for the musicians, the tones of the instruments are used in a nuanced way. The subtle tempo rubato and the talking gesture give this music astonishing plasticity. " • I. Allihn in FonoForum 2/98:
