The scientific evaluation of the archive of the Berlin Singakademie, which was rediscovered a few years ago in Kiev, repeatedly brings musical treasures to light. This also applies to the flute concerto in D major by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, of which so far only a later version for harpsichord (Wq13 / H416) was known. Alexis Kossenko and Arte Dei Suonatori now present the first recording of the rediscovered work and at the same time conclude their highly acclaimed complete recording of the flute concertos.
