Purcell: King Arthur
Nakład wyprzedany, ostatni egzemplarz
Henry Purcell's King Arthur is difficult to bring to the stage these days, despite its wonderful music as a representative of typical English semi-opera. But what happens when a popular French comedy duo (Corinne & Gilles Benizio aka Shirley & Dino) take on Purcell's King Arthur? Then you can be sure of a good dose of irony and wit, a yodeling Hervé Niquet, a stagehand with notoriously artistic ambitions, dancing monks and a very unusual rendition of the famous frost scene.
