Phyllida Lloyd directs this production, with Simon Keenlyside and Liudmyla Monastyrska portraying the Thane and his Lady.José Cura as Otello interprets the Moor in an intense, penetrating staging by Willy Decker at Barcelona’s Liceu alongside the Symphony Orchestra and Chorus of the Grand Teatre Del Liceu.Christopher Purves shines in the title role of Falstaff under the inspirational baton of conductor Vladamir Jurowski.
