A musical visionary of his era, the works of Antonio Soler (1729-1783) have largely and unfortunately been neglected. Following his critically acclaimed recording of Rzewski’s variations, pianist Christopher Hinterhuber sets out to refresh Soler’s keyboard sonatas. Austrian classical pianist Christopher Hinterhuber (b. 1973) currently teaches piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He has recorded several successful albums, performing works by Zemlinsky, Schubert, Ries, and Haydn.
