Concilium musicum Wien was founded by Paul and Christoph Angerer in 1982 and has since developed an extensive musical spectrum ranging from baroque music to 19th century dance music. The 30th anniversary of this ensemble was celebrated in the Festsaal of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna with a concert, which is now available on CD. The symphonies No. 39 by Johann Michael Haydn and No. 101 in D major were performed "The Clock" by Joseph Haydn. For the Concerto in A major for basset clarinet, KV 622, by Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, clarinettist Ernst Schlader uses an instrument reconstructed from historical sources.
