description
"Tseng's students are now all professional flautists - he should have made this recording long ago!" "With such talent, he is considered a true national treasure!"
On the flute, Tseng immediately grasped the basics of all the fundamental schools of style and studied with thirteen different teachers, including Liu Guan-yue and Hu Ping-chi, although he is mainly regarded as a representative of the Northern School.
He is characterized by a bold and assertive playing style that reveals his deep passion for music, while his full tone is supported by the necessary technical mastery - and his achievements in the music world reflect his expressive versatility and the depth of his artistic vision.
Many of Yung-ching's original compositions have been recorded and are heard here for the first time.
