Chevallier, Ramon Lopez ...

"This record was born a desire shared by all the members of the Kumquat: to capture the energy of the group in the unique moment of a concert by associating it with the technical precision of the studio to better underline the contours of the most complex sections . The songs on the disc were recorded in three stages: a live take and two studio sessions.
The experience of assembly [cf. Line 12; In bed with Igor] reveals a speech conducive to renewing the listener's attention. To the raw live sound of La Revenge de l'ogresse stands out the editing work offered by the possibilities of the studio. The sheep or the coffee?, Piece at the origin of the animated short film, is a typical example. »Kumquat
