description
Recorded on five islands of the Indonesian archipelago (Borneo, Sulawesi, Selayar, Sumbawa and Flores), this selection of vocal (often a capella) and instrumental music was brought together solely for its soothing properties; songs for the sick, nostalgic songs accompanied on the lute, children's songs and lullabies. Deep feelings of intimacy and serenity emanate from the empathy of these field recordings. Hardback large digipack with extensive Eng/Fr notes.
