description
Splendid interpretations and superb singing make this album of opera arias a special treat. Oksana Dyka’s dramatic and dazzling voice sparkles in this collection of favorites from treasured operas by Puccini and Verdi. A rising star of the world’s most famous opera houses, the acclaimed Ukrainian soprano has been called “nothing less than sensational.” Dyka is accompanied by “the singer’s dream collaborator,” four-time GRAMMY®-nominated conductor Constantine Orbelian and the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra. Dyka and Orbelian capture the excitement of these selections, which include Dyka’s portrayals of some of opera’s most famous protagonists, including Manon Lescaut, Madama Butterfly and Lady Macbeth.
