description
This CD / DVD project presents the best moments captured in concert at the Institut du Monde Arabe on March 4, 2011. The video of the concert on the DVD includes three bonus tracks. Abed Azrié, producer and artistic director of this publication, comments: “Michèle Claude revisits with a certain intuition the repertoire of Ziryâb and his successors. It makes us discover - with what freshness! - a Baroque Orient and an Eastern Occident, a truth which we must take into account today to safeguard and perpetuate this immense human and civilization heritage.
