description
The "Outre-Foret," the northernmost region of Alsace and a true natural history museum, is the cradle of the d'Wyn Mugge group. Founded in 1995, this ensemble, under the direction of Charles Thomann, cultivates the traditions of its homeland; moreover, it represents a lifestyle that the musicians draw from their hearts and roots. Originally formed by a few friends, the band played at the local wine festival. On this occasion, they were dubbed "Wine Flies" – d'Wyn Mugge. Their shared love for a highly expressive and spirited musical style with its origins in Bohemia and Moravia led the musicians to perform in a small ensemble accompanied by a vocal duo. This allows them to fully embrace the term "pure music." The perfect music for your own Oktoberfest with the first-class 15-piece d'Wyn-Mugge brass band!
