description
Bizet wrote his classical symphony, which for Jean Roy "sounds ... as if hundreds of other symphonies had not been written before her. She is a miracle of youth!". This delightful work reflects in perfect harmony the era from Mozart to Rossini.
• Bizet: L'Arlésienne Suite No. 2
• Bizet: Symphony in C
Twenty years later, Bizet took a closer look at Alphonse Daudet's drama L'Arlésienne: in his two world-famous orchestral suites, Bizet combines a characterization of the characters and the drama of the play in an extraordinarily subtle way with the sunlight-flooded atmosphere of Provence.

• Bizet: L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1
• Bizet: L'Arlésienne Suite No. 2
• Bizet: Symphony in C
