Beschreibung
The first new production of the quintessential Salzburg classic in 12 years was enthusiastically received by both audiences and critics. The almost counter-revolutionary approach of directors Julian Crocuch and Brian Mertes, who breathed new life into their Everyman, imbuing it with wildness, fun, and hilarious naturalness, was particularly praised. Burgtheater actor Cornelius Obonya in the title role, Brigitte Hobmeier as Buhlschaft, and the legendary Peter Lohmeyer as Death are already considered ideal casting choices.
