The 6 pieces Op 53 by Anton Arensky, structured like a suite, show what a far-reaching conception of different musical styles the composer, born in Novgorod, had. In general, Arensky was avoiding of his music, which doesn't sound particularly "Russian," rather the drama. His extraordinary gift for melody arensky proves this especially in his Etudes, in which at times reminiscences of Chopin's mixture of from technical challenge with lyricism and daring harmonies.
Arensky, a pupil of Rimsky-Korsakov and teacher of Rachmaninov and Scriabin , was by his untimely death unjustly fast in Forgotten, only to be rediscovered in recent years.
The multi-award-winning American pianist Adam Neiman has already performed with leading orchestras and Conductors, both with chamber music and concerts, in recordings and transmissions, and his Compositions worldwide.
