Originally, their sound was described as "tribal rock". After adding an electric guitar, many said it was "Celtic Rock". When they shared the stage with Motörhead at a rock festival in England, Lemmy himself called them the "Motörhead of Folk".
Over the years, the band has developed their sound into what is now known as "Scottish Medieval Rock" - a sound that will not soon be forgotten. Highlander: Outlander Unplugged, Saor Patrol's new album, revisits the original roots of the band's music - the sound and raw, fluid style of the early days without electric guitars.
