This CD includes recordings of two groups conducted by Boris Efremov: the Moscow Chorus of Horn Players and the Folk Ensemble Ulitsa. The basic focus of their activity is the revival of Russian traditions from the 18th and 19th centuries, especially those of wind instruments –such as horn, overtone flute, panpipes, vertical flute, shepherds’ trumpet– and violin or balalaika.
