Premiera płyty 2024.03.29 The young Handel wrote these three wonderful sacred works in Rome, where he stayed from 1707 to 1710. The Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and the RIAS Kammerchor offer us a highly lively, colorful reading of this music, in which the composer's talent is already evident: fidelity to old forms, perfect mastery of counterpoint and a unique sense of storytelling from such an early age. Everything here hints at genius.
