Franz Liszt (1811-1886) was one of the most famous musicians of the19-th century. A traveling virtuoso, a man of the world, a dandy with(according the standard of the day) questionable morals. On theother hand Liszt took minor holy orders in his old age and strove forpurity and spirituality.
