Performed with single strings and at a low, "French" pitch, this recording offers a unique, chamber-like interpretation of Bach's virtuosic ouvertures. This release — the third on AAM Records — follows Birth of the symphony: Handel to Haydn, named BBC Radio 3 Disc of the Week and awarded five stars in Classical Music.
