A beautiful collection of Israeli folk songs by the Burning Bush Ensemble, the best Jewish ensemble in England. It covers a relatively wide range of sounds, from vaguely North African and / or Latin American sounding songs to more klezmer-like compositions.
There are also a lot of purely Hebrew folk songs. Highlights of the album are above all the faster pieces such as "Hava Netze Bemachol", but some of the slower pieces also show off Lucie Skeaping's vocal abilities quite well.
