Beschreibung
“The souls built too close to the water,” recited Urs Widmer in the “Book of nightmares ». He talks about the abysses of the creature and the Whims of nature. The scenery is about fur mosquitoes, mason bees, porbet sharks, Shaggy bears, stockfish and carnivorous plants. «It can be», is the name of the call to the bat, “that poets eat poets”. It's about life and death, talking and being s lent, about the dark side of the soul.
The bass clarinetist Michael Riessler performs Widmer's fables, his bold imagination into the world of sounds. In circular breathing from the bass clarinet conjured up «Minimal Music »reminiscent sounds add distinctive exclamation marks and to the texts against onomatopoeic mood pictures. The beautiful horror wins comedy. Musical glimmers of hope contrast surreal text worlds. A breathtaking day of dialogue between writer and musician emerged on stage and tested and developed over several years.
