Beschreibung
It's not easy to summarize Valentina Ponomareva's achievements in her highly successful and multifaceted career. Andrei Petrov, a Russian composer, said of her: "Valentina Ponomareva is a truly unique singer. She is perfect in everything she does: folk, jazz, classical music, and rock."
It has been repeatedly noted that Valentina's sense of style is the common denominator across the many facets of her career. At her performances, one seems to be seeing not just one, but several different singers. Even today, concert halls of all sizes in Russia are sold out whenever Valentina's performance is announced.
On the CD "Gypsy Romances From Russia," she offers enchanting Russian gypsy romances, passionate and romantic, accompanied by guitars and violins.
