Beschreibung
Berima Amos's neo-highlife style brings together both traditional and contemporary music by blending highlife, Afrobeat, traditional West African rhythms, jazz, and soul with modern sounds.
"Rhythms Of Love" is a heartfelt tribute to the music and icons that have shaped his journey. With hypnotic grooves, expressive trumpet lines, and soulful melodies, he explores love, unity, and cultural pride. The album bridges tradition and innovation, celebrating Africa’s musical heritage while boldly carrying it into the future. Berima Amo, a Ghanaian singer, trumpeter, bandleader, and composer, is considered West Africa’s ambassador for Afrobeat and Highlife. He is the founder of the first West African big band in 30 years, the Osaberima Big Band, and has also collaborated with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Fonds Podiumkunsten, and the Dutch National Opera & Ballet.
