Beschreibung
Flora Molton’s music conveys the spiritual flame of a gospel that first took fire during the Great Awakening of 1730. Following along in the tradition of the old street gospel singers, Flora Molton (whose slide-guitar technique is both simple and eloquent) goes right to the heart of the message, singing with a slightly broken voice that comes very close to a kind of emotional paroxysm, where blues music and gospel songs meet.
