Beschreibung
"Jarry's direction cannot be faulted, any more than can the excellent orchestral contribution...For the performance as a whole there can be little but praise, notably in the singing of the three sopranos (Marlys de Villoutreys, Virginie Thomas and Cecile Achille), all of whom sing with a fresh purity and unforced sweetness of tone that sounds absolutely right for this repertoire. But the other soloists also excel, the bass David Witczak's mastery of Discord's rapid patter deserving special praise." • Opera, April 2019
