Multi-instrumentalist Aryeh Frankfurter has made a name for himself on the Celtic music scene with his ethereal harp playing and lush recordings. Here he presents several traditional arias, rendered sweetly and with a touch of melancholy.
Album opener "Ta Me Mo Shui" (famously covered by Clannad in the early 1980s) is almost overwhelming in its emotional intensity, weaving hope and sadness into a wistful tapestry of sound.
