This new release comes from the TrioVanBeethoven, who once again dazzle listeners with this third volume in their series of Beethoven’s complete works for piano trio. Violinist Verena Stourzh, pianist Clemens Zeilinger, and cellist Franz Ortner founded TrioVanBeethoven in 2011. They debuted that same year at the world renowned Festival Tage der Alten Musik in Herne. The group frequently tours throughout Europe. This latest release, which features three more of Beethoven’s trios, was recorded in the stunning acoustics of the grand Liszt Hall in Raiding Austria.
