Sonata, que me veux-tu? (Sonata, what do you want for me?) the writer and enlightener Bernard le Bovier de Fontenelle (1657-1757) once asked provocatively. Les Dominos under Florence Malgoire present here for the first time Couperin's entire sonata oeuvre, including the sonata La Convalescente, which was only discovered as a manuscript copy in 2005 and has not yet been recorded.
